We all wish we could "get big" overnight, but the reality is, it takes time. A true weight lifter understands that you cannot walk into the gym one week and expect to see a change when you walk out. No matter how genetically gifted you may be, it is unrealistic and impossible to look like the pros in just a few months time. You have to put in years of training and develop the right nutrition plan for that to happen, and even then you might fall short. Also remember the tremendous role genetics play in bodybuilding. You can change your diet, exercises, and training schedule, but your DNA will always stay the same. Do not get discouraged if you notice a certain muscle not keeping up with the rest of the group. This just means you will have to train that muscle a little extra hard.
Building a good looking physique will take you several months of training, dieting, and cardio. While a "great" one will take years of hard work and intense training sessions. Ask yourself if you are willing to make the sacrifices needed to get the physique you desire. No skipping workouts, no fast food, and plenty of sleep are some of the guidelines must follow. Laziness is not an option, it's time to get dedicated, this is a must if you want to excel in weightlifting
